You may pay by:

• Cash (dollars/pesos) or by an international credit card (the amount charged will be in USD). We cannot accept payment by mail. Payments are done at the Embassy the day of the appointment. If you pay with an Argentine-issued credit card, note that the Government of Argentina currently imposes additional taxes on foreign transactions.
  
  Note: Unfortunately we cannot accept defaced, soiled, marked, or torn dollar bills

U.S. citizens that are eligible to renew their U.S. passport using the DS-82 form must renew their U.S. passport by mail and pay the fee online at https://www.pay.gov/public/form/start/607957567
