You may pay in person or by mail.

In person:

• Payment may be made by cash (U.S. Dollars or Bolivianos); or
• Credit card (Mastercard, Visa, Diners Club, Discover, American Express) paid at the time of the appointment.
• Please be prepared to pay with cash in case the credit verification system is temporarily unavailable.
• Damaged bills are not accepted.

By mail :

• The only accepted method of payment for an adult passport renewal by mail is through The U.S. government’s secure payment site (https://www.pay.gov/public/form/start/607957567 ).
• You should pay the $130 passport application fee via the website provided.
• Once the payment is completed please be sure to print the electronic payment confirmation you receive via email and include it in the package you send to the Consular Section.
