U.S. citizens that are eligible to renew their U.S. passport using the DS-82 form can pay the fee online at https://www.pay.gov/public/form/start/1156527186/ .

U.S. citizens that are applying for a passport using a DS-11 form can pay the fee online at https://www.pay.gov/public/form/start/1274042472/ .

Payment can also be made at the U.S. Embassy at the time of your appointment by cash in U.S. dollars (or the the equivalent in Cabo Verdean Escudos) or with a credit card. Local cards nor personal or traveler’s checks are not accepted.
