How much does it cost for a U.S. passport?

For Passport applications by mail-Adult Passport Renewals (DS-82 only): Online fee payment at https://www.pay.gov/public/form/start/1156527186/ . After successfully paying the fee, you must PRINT out the electronic payment confirmation you receive via email and include it in the application package you send to the Embassy.
For Passport Applications in Person-Minors, First Adult Passport, First-Time Applicants, Lost, Stolen or Damaged Passports (DS-11 only):
Online fee payment Online fee payment at https://www.pay.gov/public/form/start/1274042472/ . After successfully paying the fee, you must PRINT out the electronic payment confirmation you receive via email and bring it along with the application package to the Embassy or Consulate. If you are paying online for an emergency passport, pay with a credit card instead of other payment methods to avoid processing delays.
Cash For payments in cash, please bring the exact amount in U.S. dollars (we cannot make change for payments in U.S. dollars) or the equivalent fees in Euros (change is available for Euros).

- Credit Cards We accept major credit cards, U.S. dollars and Euros. Virtual cards/contactless payments are not accepted.
