For most passport services, payment is made on the day of the appointment, at the Embassy. The fee can be paid in cash (in U.S. Dollars or Peruvian Nuevos Soles), or with a credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, or Diners Club). Local debit cards, personal checks, money orders or banker’s drafts are not accepted.
